Zickzack building components

Zickzack building components, is a patented construction system of embedded wood trusses in disc format. Zickzack-lattice design based on the principle that the components of the element bears up the loads that the element is exposed.

Cost effective wood beam construction system. Abstract: A Swedish SME has developed a patented system of wooden beams to make prefabricated units that can be used as floor/ceiling in multistorey buildings. The system is twice as cost effective compared to conventional systems. The company is seeking partners interested in licence agreements. Description: The system is made of wooden beams that are positioned in zigzag and embedded in a framework forming a prefabricated unit or board (similar principle as corrugated iron). The result is a construction that is stiffer in relation to weight and that has a higher loadbearing capacity compared to other similar systems used for house construction of floors, ceilings and walls.
